WiFi QR
Let guests join your WiFi by scanning
Runs in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you share it.
The code holds (password hidden)
WIFI:T:WPA;S:Souq Cafe Guest;P:••••••••;;
- Network name
- Souq Cafe Guest
- Security
- WPA, WPA2 or WPA3
The password stays on this device. It is never shown here, in a preview or in a shared link.
How it works
- Type the network name exactly as it appears in the WiFi list. It is case-sensitive.
- Choose the security type and enter the password, or pick an open network.
- Turn on “Hidden network” if your router does not broadcast its name.
- Download the code as PNG, SVG or a print-ready PDF. The password never appears on screen or in a shared link.

Questions
Does a WiFi QR code work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Recent iPhone and Android cameras read WiFi codes and offer to join the network. Older phones may need a QR reader app.
Is it safe to put my WiFi password in a QR code?
Anyone who scans the code can join, and a phone can show the password once it has joined. Put the code where only your guests see it, and use a separate guest network if you can.
What if I change my WiFi password?
The old code stops working, because the password is stored in the code itself. Make a new code with the new password and replace the printed one.
Which security type should I choose?
Most routers use WPA, WPA2 or WPA3, which share one option here. Choose WEP only for very old equipment, and None only for an open network with no password.
Where does my network password go?
Into the code only. The code is made in your browser and the password is never shown on screen or in a shared link. To share a code for a network with a password, sign in: we keep it in your saved work, and the link lasts 7 or 30 days.
