How it works
- Type the number in any format.
- Set a default country for numbers without a country code, such as 050 123 4567 in the UAE.
- We check it against that country's numbering plan and show whether it is a mobile or fixed line.
- Copy the E.164, international or national form. Turn on masking to hide the last 4 digits.

Questions
What is E.164?
It is the international standard for phone numbers: a plus sign, the country code and the number, with no spaces, such as +971501234567. Most CRMs and messaging tools expect it.
Why does a number that looks right fail?
Each country sets which lengths and prefixes are in use. A number with a missing digit or a prefix that is not assigned breaks that plan, so it cannot be a real number.
Why do I need a default country?
A number such as 050 123 4567 could belong to several countries. With no country code and no default country, we ask rather than guess.
Does a valid result mean the number is in use?
No. It means the number fits the country's plan. It does not show that the line is active or who owns it.
