How is reading time worked out?
We divide the word count by a reading speed: 200 words a minute for slow readers, 250 for average and 300 for fast. Speaking time uses 150 words a minute.
What counts as a word?
Any run of characters between spaces counts as one word, so a number or a link is one word too. Arabic words are counted the same way.
What is keyword density?
It is how often your keyword appears compared with the total number of words, as a percentage. Writers for search engines often aim for 1 to 3%.
What are stopwords in the frequent words table?
They are very common words such as the, and or في. Filtering them out shows the words that really carry your topic. The tool detects English, Spanish, French, German and Arabic.
