Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The file is read and the new one is made on your device, and neither leaves it. That suits contracts, statements and anything else you would not email to a stranger.
Can someone recover the pages I left out?
No. The pages you keep are copied into a brand new file, so the pages you left out are not in it at all. This matters: some tools only hide a page, and the text can be pulled back out of the file afterwards.
How do I write the page numbers?
A single page is 7. A range is 2-4. A run to the end is 9-. You can combine them with commas, as in 1, 3-5, 9-. Arabic-Indic numerals work too, and a page that does not exist is refused with the number of pages the file has.
Does the new file keep form fields?
No. Making a clean new file is what guarantees the removed pages are gone, and that copy does not carry form fields across. If you need a fillable form kept intact, split it with a tool that edits the original, and accept that the removed pages may still be recoverable from it.
