Questions

Will my images lose quality?

A quality of 70 to 80 usually looks the same to the eye while cutting the file size a lot. Check the before and after preview, then download.

Which format should I choose?

WebP is usually the smallest for websites. JPEG suits photos everywhere, and PNG suits logos and screenshots with sharp edges.

Does it remove photo location data?

Yes, unless you choose to keep it. Each image is redrawn and saved again, which drops the hidden camera details, including location. Turn on Keep photo details to keep them in JPEG files.

Why did one of my images fail?

Some formats, such as HEIC photos from iPhones, cannot be read by every browser. The tool says so for that file; save the photo as JPEG first, then add it again.

Are my images uploaded?

Runs in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you share it. Files over 20 MB are refused before they are read, because the tool never sends them anywhere.
