Questions
What is a Google Place ID?
It is the code Google uses for each business on Maps, and usually starts with ChIJ. Search for your business in Google's Place ID Finder to get it.
Where should I put the QR code?
Where customers are happy with your service: at the counter, on receipts, on takeaway bags or on a card handed over at the end of a job.
Can I offer a discount for a review?
No. Google does not allow rewards or discounts in return for reviews. Ask every customer in the same way, whatever they might write.
Does the link work on phones and computers?
Yes. It opens the review form on any device. On a phone, customers need to be signed in to Google to post.
